DFB: Congratulations to our U17 World Champions.

We congratulate our U17 national team on winning the World Cup. The team led by Christian Wück displayed an incredible performance of determination, overcoming strong French opposition even with a player less on the field. After securing the European Championship title in the summer, the boys have once again excelled. Fantastic!
This leaves us eager for more. Now, we wish Julian Nagelsmann and the senior A-team good luck and a fantastic home European Championship next summer.

“Merry Christmas – We are closed from December 27th to 29th!”

Dear Patients,

As the year comes to a close, we would like to express our gratitude to all patients, referring partners, collaborators, suppliers, and service providers. We have been pleased to serve you throughout the year and appreciate the very positive feedback and kind Christmas and year-end gifts.
Once again, I extend a special thanks to my team for their outstanding teamwork, whether in patient care or during the TÜV Süd recertification process; my colleagues have proven their excellence.
The practice will be closed from December 27th to 29th. We will be back to assist you starting January 2nd.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Access to Niddaplatz car park closed from 4 to 31 October!

Dear patients,

due to civil engineering works in Frankfurter Straße, access to our Niddaplatz car park will unfortunately be closed from 04.10. to 31.10.23.  Please park in the neighbouring VILCO car park (Stadthalle) at Niddastraße 3, from where it is only a few minutes’ walk across the Nidda to our practice. We apologise for the inconvenience and wish you a pleasant journey despite the diversions!

Dr. Mahn and Team

Best Easter greetings!

Dear patients!

We, Dr. Mahn  and Team, wish our patients, cooperation partners, suppliers and other business partners a wonderful Easter season. Please note that practice hours are somewhat reduced during Holy Week and Easter, with the next surgery day being 04/25/2023.

Times remain challenging and we must stand together permanently and continue to help make the world a little better and more livable, bit by bit. With a little less selfishness and greed, we should be able to leave something sustainable for the following generations. We stand up for this and want to do our part, especially in the field of medicine and health.

Happy Easter!

TÜV Süd: DIN ISO 9001:2015 monitoring audit successfully completed

IIn December 2022, a renewed monitoring audit by TÜV Süd confirmed the successful application of our quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001:2015. The QM system is constantly adapted to new tasks and requirements and expanded in coordination with our QM consultant Dr. Welz-Spiegel. Once again, we passed the “test” within the framework of the external monitoring audit by TÜV Süd without any deficiencies. This certifies again this year that we work consistently in quality management and attach great importance to quality and traceability. We will continue to work on our process quality at the highest level.

Merry Christmas / Practice closed from 27 to 30.12!

Dear patients!

Another difficult year is coming to an end. After Corona, we are unexpectedly involved in a war and an energy crisis is haunting us. Even if some of it could have been avoided, we now have to deal with it, which only works with empathy, solidarity and cohesion. Different views should not lead to exclusion but to acceptance and tolerance…
All the more I would like to thank my team for another great effort and my patients for their compliance, their participation in their own health and their loyalty to our practice. We continue to give our all to best help you with your orthopedic, trauma surgery and sports medicine concerns.
The practice will be closed between the years (December 27-30). We will be back to serving you as usual on January 2, 2023.

We wish you a Merry Christmas, a restful time and a good start into the New Year!

DFB: U18 National Team against Mexico, Czech Republic and USA

Dr. Mahn is now in the Czech Republic as team doctor of our DFB U18 national team (head coach Christian Wörns, assistant coach Daniel Jungwirth and Heiko Westermann). According to the rotation, the current U21 was handed over after three years and the current U18 was taken over in the medical care. We apologize for any inconvenience due to the absence of Dr. Mahn. Next surgery day is September 27. During office hours, Dr. Mahn will be represented by Dr. Glück on the appropriate days.

Your practice team sends sporty greetings!

Addendum: Our U18 national team has won the well-staffed September tournament and takes the first title.

No power to drugs

Especially in today’s fast-moving times, in which it is difficult for many people, especially young people, to find their way in life, we see it as our duty to set an example with education and the promotion of appropriate projects. Therefore, we as the practice DR. MAHN & Kollegen decided to support addiction prevention projects and the fight against drug-related crime within the framework of “NO POWER TO DRUGS” as we did last year. Maybe we can find more sponsors for this good cause…

Software Migration

For years we have been thinking about it. Now the time has come, after we have examined and extensively tested various practice programs, the decision was made in favor of the very modern and innovative T2med, which replaces our long-standing MediStar system. T2med is platform independent, runs natively on our iMacs and is operated with a Linux server. Especially in today’s times with countless hacker attacks also in the healthcare system with its highly sensitive data, this is an important step towards more security. Unfortunately, our practice will be closed from June 13 to 22 due to the extensive measures taken by our IT staff. We will do our utmost to be able to offer you the usual service again soon. During the changeover period, however, the practice can be reached by telephone from 8:30 to 13:00.

Happy Easter

Easter days are approaching, spring is very close and nature, plants and animals are waking up from hibernation. Fortunately, the Corona situation also seems to relax and perhaps people lose a little of their worries in this regard. Unfortunately, the world has changed again in recent weeks and the war in Ukraine is shaking everyone. Hopefully, we will also overcome this challenge and understand once and for all that aggression, war, armed violence and revenge are not a way out of the existing problems of this world.
In spite of everything, we wish you a happy Easter! Please note that there will be no operations on April 19 (Tuesday after Easter).
Best regards from

Dr. Mahn and Team
